Seint Beauty’s (previously Maskara Beauty) IIID foundation is cream makeup that was created to streamline the makeup routine. Our faces are full of different colors, so rather than using one shade for our foundation, we will use at least three with Seint products to reflect our true complexions. This Seint color match guide will help you find the best shades for your complexion.

This Seint color match guide is pretty comprehensive, so here’s a table of contents to help you navigate it. Consider pinning this on Pinterest or saving it as a bookmark to come back to as needed!

The EASIEST Way to Color Match
The easiest way to color match is to select a curated palette put together by Seint for each skin tone. This is the perfect way to get started and you can always add in new tins to further customize your palette as the seasons change.
We are going to start with this method because it’s the simplest way to get started using Seint makeup. If you’re more interested in learning how to create a completely personalized palette tin by tin, head over to the first step in this process.

Seint Makeup Basics
We’re going to start with the very basics (which are actually the essentials) at the beginning of this Seint Beauty color match guide.
Highlight Shades
We will first be choosing two highlight colors, which act as your foundation. The first highlight color will be your main “foundation” color. The second highlight color will act as your brightener, so it will be lighter than your main skin tone.
Contour Shade
Then we will choose your contour shade, which we will use to define your natural features. This will be what you use to contour key features on your face – forehead, nose, cheekbones, and jawline. This will allow you to accentuate what you love and diminish the features you don’t.
Cheek + Lip Shade
The final touch is your cheek and lip shade, which will bring out the natural flush in your complexion.
Extra Add-Ons
Seint Beauty also offers magnetic tins of cream illuminators, finishing powder, bronzer, eyeshadow, eyeliner, and eyebrow pomade. You truly can have everything you need in on compact. For the sake of this Seint color match guide, however, we’ll focus on the highlight, contour and cheek+ lip shades.
Why Multiple Shades with Seint Makeup
Seint Beauty’s IIID foundation is actually three tins of different colors for your face. Our faces are full of beautiful colors and shades, so our makeup should be as well. Using at least three colors we are able to bring out your favorite features, downplay your least favorite features and give your complexion a stunning glow.
We do this through “HACing” – AKA highlight and contouring.
When you first start out using Seint makeup, you’ll create your own refillable palette with different tins containing your highlight and contour shades. Having everything in one palette will really streamline your makeup routine.
Why Properly Color Matching is Important
A lot of difficulties people have with applying Seint makeup can be boiled down to not using the right shade for their complexions. Seint makeup should blend beautifully onto your face, acting as a second skin.
If you find the makeup is looking cakey or settling into your fine lines, you’re either applying too much or you’re not using the correct shades. No worries though, because this Seint color match guide will help you find your perfect fit.

Step One: Determining Your Skin Tone + Undertone
The very first thing you should do before color-matching yourself with Seint makeup is to figure out your skin tone and skin undertone.
Skin Tone
Most skin tones fall into the following categories: fair, medium, olive, or deep.
Skin Undertone
Your skin undertone is the color underneath your complexion. This is either cool, warm, or neutral.
How to Determine Your Undertone
It’s simple to figure out your undertone! Here are a few guidelines to keep in mind:
- Do you burn easily in the sun? Do you look best in silver jewelry? Are the veins in your wrist blue or purple? You most likely have cool undertones.
- Do you tan easily in the sun? Is gold jewelry your best look? Are your veins greenish? If so, you most likely have warm undertones.
- Are your veins a mix of blue and green, or maybe you can’t quite tell? You probably have a neutral undertone.
Still not sure? Check out this guide by Byrdie on figuring out what undertone your skin has.
Step Two: Choose Your Highlight Shades
Now that you have your skin tone and undertone figured out, we will choose your highlight shades. You can choose each of your shades and build a personalized palette, or you can purchase a collection palette suited for your skin tone that Seint Beauty has put together for you.
I’ve listed each highlight shade under which undertone each one suits best, so you can find your perfect highlight color.

- Warm Tones
- Aura
- Sunlit
- Amber
- Wheat
- Mango
- Goddess
- Papaya
- Icon
- Cinnamon
- Mirage
- Cool Tones
- Moonlit
- White Peach
- Muse
- Neutral Tones

Step Three: Choose Your Contour Shade
Just like with your highlight shades, you’ll choose your contour shade based on your skin tone and undertone. I’ve grouped all the contour shades based on undertone below.

- Warm
- Walnut
- Stone
- Indigo
- Cool
- Aspen
- Ash
- Cola
- Shadow
- Neutral
- Henna
- Olive
- Astoria
Step Four: Choose Cheek + Lip
Seint makeup’s Cheek + Lip shades will accentuate the flush of color in your lips and cheeks, which will warm your complexion.
The great news is that there aren’t any solid rules when choosing the shades you love, but try to stick with cooler shades if you have a cool undertone and warmer shades if you have a warm undertone.
Step Five: Create Your Palette

You can create your personalized palette in two ways. You can build a palette by selecting each individual tin you want in it. This would include your highlights, contour, lip + cheek, and anything else you’d like to use.
Seint Collection Palettes
That being said, I recommend starting out with a curated collection palette. Seint Beauty created these collections with the perfect colors for the most common skin tone and undertone combinations.
There are 8 different shades, so there’s a collection for every skin tone and undertone. It’s the easiest way (and least expensive) way to get everything you need in one order, with the right colors for your complexion.
They also come with the perfect cheek colors that go best with your highlight colors and contour colors.
Collection No. 4 will give you the basics you need (two highlights, one contour, one lip + cheek) along with an IIID brush. There are also larger collections if you want to add on illuminators, settings powders, shadows, and more.

Benefits of a Seint Palette
Seint palettes are awesome because they allow you to have everything you need in one place. They are also refillable. Each one of the perfect shades comes in an individual magnetic tin, which you can replace separately. So, you only need to refill what you want, went you want. Each tin is around $11 and lasts forever, which makes Seint make extremely affordable.
